SMC Strategy articles

This section gathers smart money strategies and setups: trade plans built on SMC market structure. Each one starts on the higher timeframe, read through higher highs (HH) and higher lows (HL) or lower highs (LH) and lower lows (LL), and picks the point of interest (POI) where the order should sit, usually an order block or an imbalance at the origin of a break of structure (BOS).

The approaches differ in where they trade. Continuation entries sit at the order block of the last BOS leg, in the trend's direction. Reversals wait for a change of character (CHoCH) against the trend at a higher-timeframe POI. Inducement entries let price take the last pullback (IDM) before it reaches the extreme zone at the leg's origin. A flip zone is a broken supply or demand zone traded from the other side.

Every guide here is free SMC education with a PDF. Each one marks its steps on bullish and bearish charts, from the higher-timeframe leg down to the lower-timeframe entry, and names the swing whose body close cancels the setup.

Entries are refined on a lower timeframe. Inside the POI, traders wait for a CHoCH back in the trend's direction and enter at the order block that caused it. The stop goes beyond that zone, and the target is the weak high or low: the external liquidity the trend is expected to take next. Only external swings set these levels, never the internal swings inside a pullback.
